Today, you can receive the life of God into your spirit, and become a brand new creature in Christ, so that God’s beauty and power can be seen in you. All you have to do is say this prayer and mean it with all of your heart; and God will hear you.
The answer to life’s pain is in you! Technological and scientific advancement does not remove the need for His entrance into your life.
THE EMPTINESS YOU FEEL IS BECAUSE ONLY JESUS CAN FILL IT.
Now That You are Saved!
Congratulations! You have just made the most important decision you have ever made in life, and I want to welcome you into the body of Christ!
“WHAT Has Happened To Me?”By praying as you just did, you received Jesus Christ into your heart and have become a child of God. You have now officially received the gift of eternal life, and you will go to Heaven. You may have heard the term being “born again,” and that’s what just happened to you. Your sins have all been washed away, and God remembers them no more. Psalm 103:12 says, “As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us.” Just think of it: How far is the east from the west? The distance is unfathomable, isn’t it? But that’s exactly what God has done with your sin.
“WHAT’S NEXT?”Your natural body cannot grow and develop properly without the right kind of diet. The same applies to your spiritual life. You are embarking upon a new life–a journey on the exciting road of serving God. To really experience a worthwhile Christian experience you must begin by first:
1. Read your Bible daily! Second Timothy 2:15 says, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly diving the word of truth.” I would suggest you begin by reading the book of John in the New Testament. It will give you a good picture of who Jesus is and what He is about. Once you’ve read John, don’t stop there–go on to read other parts of the Bible, and get to know God.
2. Practice what you read! James 1:22 says, “Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” As you read the Word of God, the Lord will show you adjustments to make in your new life. Some of these adjustments may seem hard, but know that God’s motive in asking you to make adjustments is so you can be more greatly blessed. He loves you, and He wants no hurt or harm to come to you.
3. Pray every day! First Thessalonians 5:17 says, “Pray without ceasing.” It’s vitally important that you pray daily. You now have a personal relationship with God, and He wants to hear from you and converse with you. To develop a close relationship with someone, you need to spend quality time with that person, right? In the same way, to develop an intimate relationship with God requires spending quality quiet time with Him. He’s never, ever too busy for you, and He longs to spend time with you–yes, you!
4. Come to church! The Lord admonishes us that we are not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together (Hebrews 10:25). Church is a place for you to worship God and learn more about Him. It’s also a place where you can get to know your new brothers and sisters in the Lord.
Please tell me of your new birth!
