The Net By Bob Jones

In a vision I saw a fishing net and it was completely full of large fish.  The net had a hole in it and the fish escaped.  Then I was shown a tool that would be used to mend the net.  It was a special type of tool that the Lord was giving to some of His approved leaders of the church.  This tool was for networking!

If you’re going to be part of the harvest, several churches will need to come together; laying down their private agenda and surrender to God’s eternal purpose.  One church will not be able to hold all the fish.  It will take several that network together who allow the Holy Spirit to lead them into one of the greatest harvest we have ever seen.

I believe this vision is Peter’s net.  The 153 fish in Peter’s net represent the nations of the world and the Lord had Israel on the spit.  There were 154 nations in the world at that time.

John 21:8-11 But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from land, but about two hundred cubits), dragging the net with fish. 9 Then, as soon as they had come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread. 10 Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.”
11 Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken.

This net is for the nations.  It’s time we ask the Lord to give us the nations!

Ps 2:8 Ask of Me, and I will give you the nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for your possession.

We will need to be joined together in spirit not in mind or soul.  We will need to become servants to the Holy Spirit to pull this net in.

I will like to comment on the fish net vision by Bob Jones. The Lord Jesus actually gave me similar vision in 2010. The vision he showed me was a vast ocean where the fish were jumping out of the water and jumping back into the water. As I looked at the shore three people with very short fishing nets were trying to cast their nets over the sea to catch the fish. But the nets kept missing their targets.I felt the Lord speak to me saying “nobody is catching my fish” As I looked at the shore again, the three people were still there trying to cast the net into the sea. I started to pray asking the Lord to give us larger fishing nets. A larger fishing net appeared in the hands of two other people standing by the sea shore. The Holy Spirit gave the interpretation of this vision as: The sea is the world, the fish jumping out of the water and jumping back in are Christians who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and saviour. But are living in sin and back sliding back into the world. The fishermen with the short fishing nets are evangelists who are not preaching and teaching the uncompromising truth in the world of God. They are not addressing the deep things of the spirit that will help Christians mature in their spiritual walk with the Lord. You see without the spirit of Jesus dwelling in our spirit and reconnecting our spirit to our Father God we will not be able to live a righteouss and holy lives. It is all good and well for us to pray for nations when our own lives is not reflecting the glory of God. Jesus said in John12:32 “If I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself” As Christians we should ask ourselves the question how is my life reflecting the glory of God on this earth? How is Jesus being lefted up in my life. Instead we are to busy scrambling for material wealth just like the people of the world. So what is the difference between people of the world and Christian, by the look of things not much.
